I will go over step by step everything you need to learn and know about creating websites. However, first you need to have some special software that will allow you to follow along in my tutorials. Much of the software costs money, however there are always free alternatives, which I have included in this video. After watching this video (and acquiring the software needed) you will be ready to start watching and learning from my HTML videos, which will be uploaded first.

Two other alternatives are Notepad++ which is free and very good, or Sublime Text which is $59 but designed for a large selection of coding.

Smultron is good. Google it and it is on sourceforge for free. On the Mac App Store it is 2.99

download TextWrangler from the appstore, its free and its AMAZING! 100x better than TextEdit, and it recognizes syntax’s

Code is a great program I use it all the time to code projects.

You are wrong, Mac OS X is a Unix like OS. All Unix like OS comes with text editor. Apple did not put it on there. We also use it in Linux. Mac OS X is basically BSD with a cool look and design.
